October 19-23, Gurieli presented Georgian Tea on one of the largest food exhibition that was held in Paris, France. This international food show is the hub of food innovation, bringing together producers, distributors, restaurateurs, and importers-exporters.

Throughout the SIAL, Paris was a source of inspiration for the entire food community. Giving brands the chance to discover all the latest trends and innovations, meet the right business partners and rise to the challenges facing the industry together. In 2024 SIAL celebrated its 60th event with participant 130 countries, 7 500 exhibitors, 10 key sectors, 8 000 buyers.

New Launch by Gurieli

2024, Gurieli its new redesigned product. The concept was inspired by the 200 years’ of history of Georgian tea, unique tea-making culture and tradition that was born in Guria, western part of Georgia. Specific character of the region inspired us to create new illustrated concepts, based on the visual stories from the archive of Guria. launches Redesign covered Gurieli mainstream and premium product lines. Marketing agency “Playmakers” worked on the product development, created the story and unique visualization of the brand.

Visit to Guria

Gurieli factory and tea plantations that are located in Guria, western Georgia, hosted the representatives of Georgian retail chains and hypermarkets. Non-formal event aimed to introduce the tea-making culture and history of Georgian tea. The guests visited Gurieli production areas at the factory and got to known to the manufacturing processes, that tea passes through from the very first phase after picking the leaves to the last stage of packing. It was the part of general awareness campaign about the past of Georgian tea, as well as the future plans and potential of sector development.

New Exporting Markets

Gurieli expands to the new exporting markets. After USA, Canada, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Poland, Germany and France also joined to our foreign sales areas. Negotiations with the international exporters have been completed successfully which means that from June 2024, Gurieli products will be available for the German and French consumers too. The brand continues active working to get Estonia its products introduced to the new geographical locations and popularize Georgian tea throughout European countries.

Gurieli at Madrid Fusión Manila

Gurieli has presented its products on the international gastro congress Madrid Fusión Manila. Foreign audience get the chance to get introduced with Georgian product within the culinary masterclass, that was conducted by the Georgian Chef David Narimanishvili. Products of Georgia have been the part of the representative corner of Georgian Tourism Administration. The Show Kitchen was also integrated into the display, where visitors could find and taste the Georgian national dishes and products. Georgia was the guest country on the show, but all the visitors of our area had the opportunity to participate in the degustation of different products.

Gurieli at ANUGA

Once again, Cologne, Germany became the center of world gastronomy days, organized in order to create the meetup space for the producers of food and beverage products. ANUGA hosted 7800 brands from 118 countries and made them involve in 5-days marathon for nominating top products of the industry.

Gurieli was the one among the participants of the beverages category and presented its products to get the visitors introduced with the Georgian tea and tea-based drinks.
